I have always had a hard time with the fact that I’m a human being living here on Earth. Sometimes it’s as simple as disliking the experience, other times it seems that the problem is cosmic. It feels like I have just enough memories left from being something else to keep me from being okay with who I am now. I’m working on identifying what it is that I enjoy the most about who, how, and where I am without understanding any of the why. For me, right now, it’s creation. Making something that didn’t exist before. Preferably with kind, passionate friends.

My question to you is this: What is your favorite part about being human? What is the thing you enjoy the most about this experience? that keeps you going?

My name is Gabriel García Marengo, I’m a self-taught photographer, grew up in Córdoba, Argentina, and now call Lausanne home. I am a lifestyle photographer who absolutely loves his job and everything that comes with it. I appreciate the people I meet, the places I go, the hours I keep, and the spontaneity in every shoot.

I appreciate the raw reality of everyday life, the fleeting beauty of those in-between moments, and I do my very best to take every picture with that in mind.
